HIIT- High Intensity Interval Training

Sometimes I only have time for a 10 minute workout or 20 minute workout. If this is the case I will do a high intensity interval training workout. I warm up for a few minutes then sprint for a minute, walk for a minute. I keep doing this for as long as I have. This HIIT training really gets my heart rate up and I find is a great full body workout routine. I have read that it is one of the best ways to increase metabolism, especially after the workout is finished. In other words I keep burning calories at an elevated rate for a few hours. And because there is a high number of calories burned during the workout this may be the best exercise to burn fat. I can do it outside or inside on a machine if need be.
And when done I will sometimes do a pushup workout to get a bit of a pump. Just 4 or 5 sets of pushups. It only takes a few minutes to do this. This way I can workout at home in only a few minutes.
